About
David Xia attends Columbia University in the Big Apple. He’s a math major. But you’d never be able to tell by looking at his transcript because he’s taken such a motley collection of courses. He finds old-fashioned things such as fountain pens, fedoras (he bought one to go along with his trench coat), and ice cream makers charming and not at all obsolete. When he’s not swimming in the Columbia’s pool (not the 20-yd long hole in the ground filled with piss-warm water that’s called the Barnard pool) or pillaging campus dining establishments, he can be spotted reading, writing, and running around trying to see everything at once. He wishes he could make a living as a modern day Sherlock Holmes – minus the cocaine addiction and tacky deerstalker hat, would give a limb to write like David Foster Wallace, and wants to go skydiving because, quite frankly, roller coasters just don’t cut it for him anymore.
