I hope CNN’s broadcasters are only this kooky during the holiday season. You know it’s Christmas when the anchor dances in her seat to Christmas jingles, the weatherman shares his personal travel plans, and the correspondents call each other by the wrong names.

During their morning broadcast today, CNN showed a self-conducted poll where 53% of American respondents said they don’t approve of the war in Afghanistan and 55% said they do approve sending 30K more troops. The anchor moved on without giving those numbers a second thought.

CNN then aired a maudlin segment about the 5 clones of a 9/11 rescue dog and a low-budget Afghani produced film depicting an Afghan James Bond. “No babes, no Aston Martin, no gadgetry. Instead, lots of sand, a Toyota Camry, and a longbow.”
